KayOne by Airone – Navigli Acqua Festival 2013
In the last 10 years I’ve created and managed many events, most of them related to street arts. A couple of them has become the most important street art events ever done in Italy, but I can remember with love even the smallest ones. This part of my job pushes myself everytime to find new ideas and solutions: I cant really repeat the same formulas more the 2 times.
FAN – Navigli Acqua Festival is going-on during these days and it’s a project I developed with a bunch of partners all sharing the same idea: Navigli, the rivers in the middle of Milano, need more care, more attention, more cultural investments: right now there’s none. None except this little festival which is born right now to bring a wind of change for one of the most loved neighborhoods of the city.
The festival has different cultural activities that last for 2 weeks: art, photography, design, sport, architecture, music. One of the many art events is called Water Jam: 5 couples of street artists painting on the sides of a wall in the middle of the river. Sounds strange I know, but the beginning has been very promising…
