Chris Daze Ellis: Other People Just Took Different Path
This interview was made in 2004 for Wildstylers.com. It wasn’t supposed to be filmed, but luckily Alberto Scabbia was there and had a camera… and recorded most of it. The place was a basement studio in Milano where Daze was creating some artworks for Timberland brand. Probeat Agency kindly arranged for us a meeting with the artist for a fast interview: vibes around were friendly and relaxed, and the time we spent with Daze has been really nice and interesting. Later on we all moved to a location very near the studio where other friends joined us for a little free-style action.
Yes, lights in the studio look terrible and the audio is quite bad but, as we said, neither us nor Alberto planned to film anything or anyone, so please just take this document as the simple diary of that day.
