Airone - Cavalcavia Brunelleschi, Milano 1994

I loved painting on this door, everything always looked like being inside a frame. Metal too feels different under spray cans and colors always shine so bright!

Colui che più appare conosce e custodisce cose apparenti.

Airone - Via Brunelleschi, Milano 1993

THP Hall of Fame in Via Brunelleschi, Giambellino.

Back in the days, early 90’s, many pieces everybody painted didn’t even have a real background: like this one. We were just focused on trying to develop some style and this was enough (at least for me). Colors were an expensive extra you could have learned later… Off course for common people this made really hard to understand or apreciate what we were doin.
This piece was clearly influenced by New York’s classic styles of late 80’s, that I have tryied to copy in many different details. And yes, mixing yellow 3D with a mint green outline was just a bad idea!

THP by Airone character by Teatro - Via Brunelleschi, Milano 1995

This THP has a funny flavor but probably it’s a little bit too much chaotic… too many loops, too many color details, too many dedications. Nasty character by my man Teatro.

        Airone - Corsico 1995

This one is perfect for these days of bloody fanaticisms…

Il fanatismo consiste nel raddoppiare i propri sforzi dopo aver perso di vista lo scopo

Piece painted at the old (still up to these days!) RNS (now BN) hall of fame in Corsico. Those colors were Sparvar cans!!! Thanks again to Robin for inviting me.

Painted box part of a street art group show around the streets of Milano, called Energy Box.
This one is in Via Papiniano exactly in front of San Vittore prison.

Airone - Via Rosalba Carriera, Milano 1993

Mellow lines, not usual for me: but this was Via Giambellino during those years, a real style’s playground where you could have enjoyed many different flavors. Everybody in Milano was looking for some personal lines that could push you further in a game that was starting to explode and getting more and more attention. No internet social networks where to bite styles, just few mostly black and white magazines, expensive and difficult to find. Every sketch required time and study, what it looks so easy right now was often futuristic. Happy to see few little details I still love in this piece 22 years after!
