This year I organized the first ever italian long distance skateboarding marathon on the best recetrack in the World: the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. This is a quick video of that day, see you at the next race!
The oldest THP hall of fame in Milano is an overbridge in the Giambellino neighborhood with 3 big doors: through them you can access to the warehouse where the city of Milano still keeps the metal cartels that get used around the city during elections. I always have loved those doors and I have painted them many times. The piece here (Air with a reverse I) is an old one from 1994, but its style still looks good and that’s amazing after all this time. I remember that all the spray cans were small 150ml spray cans from Dupli Color and Ver-O-Spray.
Experimenting holes inside the lettering and trying to get a “curved mellow swing”: some interesting detail and a lot of little innovations for that times but too many colors and a really bad background somehow kills the piece. My graffiti writing skills were growing faster starting from this year due to a lot of practice but my style horizons were still unclear. This was a classic piece painted with “svuotini”, many different spray cans with just a little color remained inside, a way to save money.

A couple of rare pieces painted at the old THP hall of fame in Giambellino, Milano, where the message is not my name.
First one on the left “CONTRO POTERE” means “COUNTERAUTHORITY ” and it’s explanation is in the Milan Kundera’s quote next to it: “The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting”.
On the right side, the second piece says: “MAI ABBASSARE LA GUARDIA”, “NEVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN”.
After the terrorists attacks in Paris of the last week (13 November 2015), these pieces still claim what I believe in: PEACE, CULTURE, RESPECT and ACCEPTANCE OF THE OTHERS. But… NEVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN, being pacifist doesn’t mean to be stupid.
Very nice day chilling and painting with almost all the crew at the Ippodromo di Milano wall. Still very satisfied with the sponsored colors (the new Loop spray cans) and some little detail. Overall flow in this freestyle piece feels correct!
Non si è obbligati ad accettare un’incarico o abbracciare un progetto, così quando poco prima dell’estate Atomo mi ha chiesto se avrei voluto partecipare a questa sua bella idea, ho detto di si. So che ci teneva ed era da tanto che la sognava. E quando a metà settembre il progetto Energy Box 2015 è partito, pur non condividendo ormai altro che l’idea non me la sono sentita di tirarmi indietro, e ho partecipato per l’affetto e l’amicizia che ho da sempre per Atomo.
